Payslips by unStatute (“the Service”), operated by SamKis Labs (“we”, “us”), is a St. Lucia payslip generator. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why, and who processes it on our behalf. Contact us at contact@samkislabs.com.

Information we collect

  • Account data — your name and email address, provided when you create an account.
  • Payslip data you enter — the details you put into a payslip, such as employee name, pay and earnings, and PAYE and NIS figures. When you save a payslip, this is stored in your payslip history.
  • Billing data — subscription status. Card details are entered directly with our payment processor and are never stored on our servers.
  • Technical data — basic request metadata and standard server logs used to operate and secure the Service.

How we use your data

We use your data to provide and secure the Service, generate and store the payslips you create, email payslips when you ask us to, process your subscription, send you transactional email (such as password resets), and respond to support requests. We do not sell your data, and we do not use the payslip data you enter for advertising.

Service providers (sub-processors)

We rely on a small number of trusted providers to run the Service:

  • Supabase — authentication and database hosting for your account and saved payslips.
  • Vercel — application hosting and delivery.
  • Stripe — subscription billing and payment processing.
  • Resend — delivery of transactional email and the payslips you choose to email.

Data retention

We retain your account and saved payslips for as long as your account is active. You may delete saved payslips within the app, or request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data. To exercise these rights, email us and we will respond within a reasonable time.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date above.
